Confined Space Awareness Course Background:

To comply with The Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (Confined Spaces) Regulations, 2001 (Section 5, Part b) – Any person involved in carrying out work in a confined space shall be provided with adequate information, instruction and training appropriate to the particular characteristics of the work activity

  • Be able to identify the hazards associated with working in these spaces and the controls required
  • Have reviewed case studies highlighting dangers of these spaces

This training is suitable for all workers involved in work in enclosed spaces or may be at risk of working in a confined space. Suitable for all those who manage or supervise workers who work in a confined space.


 

Training Methodology and Assessment:

Assessment is by a theory and practical test
